No. If an existing app safely covers the need, it is often faster and cheaper. We recommend custom development when the process needs custom logic, data or operating rules.

Do we need Shopify Plus?

Not always. Shopify Plus can matter for checkout or B2B scenarios, but many admin apps and internal tools make sense outside Shopify Plus.
