Custom integration · Shopify ↔ POHODA

Connect Shopify with POHODA without manually re-entering orders, inventory and documents.

We have practical experience designing and operating bidirectional POHODA connector workflows. For your Shopify store, we build a new custom solution around the POHODA edition and deployment, available permissions, data volume and the company’s exact processes.

Where the problem appears

When a Shopify and POHODA connection is needed

  • orders and customers are copied from Shopify by hand
  • inventory, prices or products differ between systems
  • documents and order states are checked through brittle exports
  • sync failures are invisible and the team cannot tell what is safe to retry
What should improve

What a reliable outcome should look like

  • each object has a defined source of truth and sync direction
  • mapping protects identifiers, taxes, currencies, states and company data
  • duplicates, conflicts and partial failures have a controlled path
  • the team can see state, failure history and retry outcomes
Process

How we design a Shopify–POHODA connector

01

Map

We assess the POHODA edition and version, database, deployment, XML or mServer options, permissions and current Shopify workflows.

02

Design

We define sources of truth, identifiers, sync direction, tax and pricing mappings, conflicts and acceptance criteria.

03

Implement

We build the Shopify app or middleware and a POHODA adapter with response validation, idempotency, logging and safe retry.

04

Verify

We test real scenarios including cancellation and failure, configure monitoring and provide an operations runbook.

Data flows and operations

Capabilities we can scope around your operation

We do not switch on every flow by default. First we define data ownership, then select only the workflows with clear business value that can be operated safely.

Shopify → POHODA

Move sales data into the accounting and operating system.

  • orders, cancellations and returns
  • customers, companies and addresses
  • payments, shipping, taxes and discounts
  • receipt and identifier validation

POHODA → Shopify

Update the catalogue from the defined source of truth.

  • products, variants and categories
  • inventory, availability and reservations
  • prices, promotions and individual rules
  • parameters, images and attachments

Documents and states

Downstream workflows after an order is received.

  • invoices and related documents
  • order processing states
  • cross-system reference matching
  • difference and exception review

Connector operations

Mechanisms required for dependable day-to-day operation.

  • incremental and batch processing
  • scheduling and volume control
  • idempotency, logs and audit trail
  • monitoring, alerts and safe retry

Torevo is not the developer of POHODA or presented as its official partner. The POHODA name identifies compatibility. Specific data and operations are confirmed only after a technical assessment of your edition, permissions and deployment topology.

Questions

Short answers before the first conversation.

Is this a ready-made public Shopify app?

No. This is a custom integration solution. Scope, price and operating model are defined after assessing POHODA and your Shopify workflows.

Which data can you synchronise?

Depending on the available interface, this may include orders and cancellations, customers, products, categories, inventory, prices, discounts, parameters, images, documents and states. Only confirmed agendas and directions are enabled.

Will you use XML or POHODA mServer?

It depends on deployment and operating requirements. mServer provides HTTP XML request–response communication, while file-based XML exchange or batch processing can fit another topology. The design must use a secure network architecture.

Do we need POHODA E1 or SQL?

Not for every scenario. The required edition and permissions depend on the agendas, imports, exports and automation needed; we verify them before confirming scope.

Need Shopify and POHODA connected around your real operating processes?

Send the POHODA edition and deployment model, approximate order volume, required sync directions and the manual work performed today. We will propose a technical assessment and a safe integration scope.
