Configure the Packeta Slovakia module
Connect Packeta Slovakia, map Shopify shipping methods and validate Slovak pickup points, labels and tracking.
On this page
The Packeta Slovakia module is the Slovak market adapter inside Torevo Shipping. It uses a Packeta Network provider account while keeping service mapping, pickup selection and shipment state explicit in Shopify.
“Packeta” identifies compatibility with the carrier service. Torevo does not claim an official partnership unless it is separately confirmed in writing.
Required settings
Before enabling the module, confirm:
- a ready Packeta Network provider account,
- a valid sender label,
- a widget key intended for the store,
- the
packeta-skmodule is enabled, - every supported Shopify shipping title has an explicit mapping,
- the storefront block uses country
sk.
The API password is write-only. Re-enter it only when rotating or replacing the credential.
Map services deliberately
Create separate mappings for internal pickup points and Z-BOX where both are offered. Do not map home delivery or another service unless the module explicitly lists it as supported.
When a shipping title is changed in Shopify, update the mapping and run another test order. Torevo blocks unknown titles instead of inferring a potentially incorrect service.
Configure the pickup selector
Add the Torevo pickup selector app block to the cart and choose Packeta Slovakia. The block must limit the widget to Slovakia and store a versioned, safe pickup-point selection with the order.
Test these cases:
- a Slovak internal pickup point,
- a Slovak Z-BOX,
- continuing without a point when the mapped service requires one,
- a stale or invalid pickup-point identifier,
- cart reload and language change.
The server validates the selected point again before creating a shipment. Storefront data alone is never treated as proof that a point is valid.
Verify the first shipment
Use a test order with a Slovak destination, recipient contact, known weight and mapped shipping method. Review the normalized service and pickup point before confirmation.
After creation, verify the carrier identifier, downloadable PDF label, tracking refresh and—if enabled—the Shopify fulfillment result. The shipment timeline should make a rejected, retryable or needs-attention result distinguishable without exposing the carrier response body.
Safe operations
- Rotate a compromised provider credential immediately and rerun the connection test.
- Use reconciliation before retrying an operation with an unknown result.
- Do not attach an arbitrary Packeta packet ID to an order; the app accepts only associations it can verify safely.
- Keep automatic batches small until manual processing is stable.
- Use the in-app support bundle instead of screenshots containing customer details.
